About Us

Northwest Samoyed Rescue has a simple guiding principle: It’s about the dog.

The mission of Northwest Samoyed Rescue is to rescue unwanted Samoyed dogs and place them in forever homes where they are wanted and loved.

We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit serving Washington, Oregon and Northern Idaho.

For other rescue organizations, see the Rescue Contacts list on Samoyed.org.

We were founded in 2008 as a  union of Samoyed Rescue of Oregon and Samoyed Club of Washington State Rescue.

We do not have a shelter. The dogs we rescue are fostered in private homes by volunteers.
